Dates to Remember

Jan 26th Tax season begins and the IRS starts processing tax returns.
April 15th Tax filing deadline before penalty and interest accrual.
Oct 15th Taxpayers requesting an extension will have until this date to file.

**The IRS anticipates most taxpayers will receive their refund within 21 days of when they file electronically, if they choose direct deposit and there are no issues with their tax return. Taxpayers should check Where's My Refund? on IRS.gov for their personalized refund status.


The IRS cannot issue a refund that includes the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) or Additional Child Tax Credit (ACTC) before mid-February.

Tips You Should Know For This Tax Season

Be Advised that, some credits have been TAKEN AWAY:


  • Employers/Financial institutions must furnish W-2s and 1099s by January 31, 2026
  • 2441 Childcare Tax credit grants up to $3,000 for one child or $6,000 for two or more depending on your AGI.
  • CTC- for each child is $2,200 per Child under age 17 years of age
  • You only get the Full EITC for up to 3 Dependents
